Reports, client notes, funding applications, handouts, business proposals... every speech pathologist spends a lot of their time writing. Yet many of us *dread* writing. We'd rather sterilise the entire clinic resource room than start that huge report hanging over our heads. Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to make writing faster, easier, and just, well, better? In this workshop, Dr Katherine Sanchez will share some of the tips and tricks she has learned as a published scientist, science writer/editor, and busy clinician that help her get her writing done (almost) pain-free. This workshop will include: - Strategies for overcoming writer's block and just getting started - Tools and shortcuts to increase your writing efficiency - Quick hacks to make your writing clearer and more readable You'll finish with at least three practical ideas that you can immediately implement to help you with your writing woes, leaving you with more time and energy to spend on other tasks. This workshop has been UPDATED to include a discussion about the use of AI for clinical writing. Housekeeping notes: - This is an online workshop on Friday 15th October, lasting one hour and fifteen minutes from 9.30am until 10.45am - This workshop will be recorded and available for online viewing for ONE WEEK after presentation. - While the workshop is written with speech pathologists in mind, other health professionals and students are also welcome to register. - This registration is for a single attendee.
